Ignition is Frantic Assembly's free movement and theatre project, designed to seek out talent in unexpected places.

Before the COVID-19 restrictions were introduced we were excited to bring together a dynamic group of young men from across the country with different backgrounds, skills and stories. Unfortunately, following Government guidelines our plans are on hold for the time being. We hope to run the programme as soon as we can.

To be a part of Ignition, no experience is necessary. We're particularly looking for young men who haven't taken part in drama or dance before.

From 2020 we have broadened the age-range, to include young men aged 16-24.

Our high energy Taster and Trial workshops are delivered with partner venues around the country and 12 of the brightest and bravest young men are then be selected to form the Ignition Company. Over 6 days you work together to create an original performance with Frantic Assembly Directors.

Ignition also includes a year-round Re-Ignite programme which continues to train, mentor and signpost opportunities with Frantic Assembly throughout the UK.
